AGRM’s Website and Magazine Receive Awards At the 2017 Evangelical Press Association (EPA) conference in April, AGRM received several awards. AGRM’s website won the Award of Excellence (first place) in the Organizational-Digital category, and AGRM’s magazine, Rescue, won the Award of Merit (second place) in the Organizational-Print category. EPA is a membership organization of more than 200 members, and in the Organiza- tional categories, AGRM competes against organizations such as Compassion International, World Vision, Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ), the Billy Graham Association, and others. RE: AGRMMay/June 2017 62 DC Forum Produces Significant Outcomes AGRM’s annual opportunity to interact with legislators and government agencies, the DC Forum, saw a large group of rescue mission leaders descend on Capitol Hill March 13–15 and make in-roads within the halls of U.S. government. About 80 meetings were held with U.S Senators and mem- bers of Congress. During these meetings, mission leaders handed out and discussed the new Baylor University study that shows the extensive reach of rescue missions and other faith-based organizations. This event should be a staple on the calendars of rescue mission leaders every year. Watch Street Smart and AGRM’s Events Calendar for additional details.
