Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County has an amazing campus in an area that—thanks to the mission—recently won Most Improved Texas Neighborhood. It is also the place where the story in Same Kind of Different as Me unfolded. The mission campus features three separate buildings serving men, women, and families with children, plus an excellent medical clinic and donation warehouse. The second stop will be Beautiful Feet Ministries. Their creativity is off the charts. The campus—which has a historic church at its center—is a gathering place for youth groups across the continent. Their buses and vans are always on the go, reaching deep into the city. Lunch will be provided. To get your money’s worth out of the convention, BOOK YOUR FLIGHT DEPARTURE NO SOONER THAN 1:30 P.M. ON SATURDAY. Obviously, you’ll need to leave later if you plan to go on the Fort Worth Trail Missions Tour. Keep in mind that Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Airport is 40 minutes from the Hyatt.
