Affinity Representatives promote the needs of the designated groups within the Track to the Executive Committee and serve on the Advisory Council of the UCYM Track

Their purpose is threefold:

• To be available to members of the Track and be familiar with specific issues and concerns of their affinity group.

• To advise and assist the council in the development and implementation of the National Urban Children & Youth Worker Training Conference.

• To ensure the specific needs each affinity group is being addressed by the Track Council.

Titles and Descriptions

Track Representatives will promote the development of year-round services targeted toward supporting your related programs.

• Community Services Representative

  will promote the development of year-round services targeted toward supporting youth related programs

• Shelter/Residential Representative

  will promote the development of children & youth related Shelter/Residential programs.

• Camp Representative - Day & Residential

  will promote the development of children & youth camp programs

• Children Representative - Ages 0 to 11

  will promote the development of children & youth programs

• Youth Representative - Ages 12 to 25

  will promote the development of youth related programs

• Leadership Development Representative

  will promote the development of leaders who are representative of the youth we serve throughout the Track

• Communication Representative

  will promote the members of the Track by recruiting stories and presenting them through newsletters, periodical articles and the website.
