In the spring of each year, the
Association of Gospel Rescue Missions sponsors a five-day training event in a different major city of the US or Canada. The convention features several training and fellowship opportunities for urban youth workers, including a two-day intensive pre-convention seminar.

Sponsored by Chicago Urban Reconciliation Enterprise, this annual conference (in early June) takes place in Chicago on the campus of Moody Bible Institute.

Accredited Internet-based distance education program of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions.  Currently offers a degree completion program - a Bachelor of Arts in Missions with an urban ministry emphasis (for students with 90 transfer credits). A certificate of completion is given to students who complete all ten courses. Instructors are current urban ministry professionals with graduate degrees and a heart for mentoring future leaders.  The courses include an on-site learning component and internships and training opportunities at urban ministries are arranged for those who participate in the program.
