Various Types of Membership in the AGRM


Individual Membership

Applicants must sign the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS statement of faith and must be a member in good standing of a protestant evangelical Church body.

All applicants for regular individual membership in the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS must first be received into District membership. Individual membership applications are to be sent to the AGRM Headquarters which shall notify the District President for approval.

The District President is to respond regarding approval within 45 days. If the District President does not respond, the applicant becomes a member of both the AGRM and the District if all other conditions are met. Upon completion of this process the applicant will be received immediately into the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS.

Special Membership

Persons of national reputation not actively engaged in rescue ministries may be elected to membership in the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS by the Board of Trustees.

Associate Membership

There shall be an Associate Membership which will allow all privileges except voting at the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS convention, or serving as an officer or member of the Board of Trustees. Dues and requirements shall be set by the Board of Trustees.

Organizational Membership

Organizations involved in rescue ministries, both local and national, may be members of the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS. National organizations with local branches, state associations, state representatives, etc., shall join separately with membership for each branch. Dues and requirements shall be set by the Board of Trustees.

The person in leadership of the rescue ministry must be an individual member of the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS and must maintain membership. It is understood that the ASSOCIATION OF GOSPEL RESCUE MISSIONS does not exercise jurisdiction or authority over any rescue ministry.
