| Member Organizations The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions is made up of over 277 member organizations. They are located primarily in North America (Canada and the U. S.), with other member missions in South Africa, India, South America, and Australia. Most of those holding Organizational Membership follow the traditional "rescue mission model", providing meals, housing, and spiritual help for the homeless. Many offer other innovative services aimed at the addicted, urban youth, the mentally ill, and other needy people in their communities.
Individual Members 1,100 people maintain Individual Membership in the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. 27% are Executive Directors of Rescue Ministries. 73% of individual members are staff members representing such specialties as women & family ministry, drug/alcohol treatment, fundraising and urban youth ministry.

Geographic Distribution of Member Missions The Association of Gospel Rescue Missions has member organizations in nearly every major metropolitan are of North America. In many smaller and moderate size cities, AGRM member rescue missions are the major service provider of services for the poor and homeless in their region. Over 80% of the funding for AGRM member rescue mission comes through the donations of private individuals and churches. Some also receive corporate and foundation support. While there are exceptions, as a general rule most missions do not receive United Way or government funds.
