Jacksonville, Florida: Executive Director—Jacksonville’s City Rescue Mission is looking for an executive director to oversee its homeless shelter, addiction counseling program, and thrift store. Because the mission is a faith-based ministry with no government funding, raising support for the mission will be a key responsibility in addition to overseeing the entire operation. The abilities to represent the mission and present its ministry and experience with rescue missions are essential. Ventura County, California: Rescue Mission Director—Rescue Mission Alliance, a faith based non-profit organization, is seeking an experienced and motivated director for the Ventura County Rescue Mission ministries to homeless men, women, and children. Responsibilities include program organization, vision, growth, planning, budgeting, staff recruiting and development, and improving recovery program outcome measures. The director will model commitment to the ministry of fundraising and lead community and church relations.
