Education & Employment Track - From the Chairman

This updated version of the referral guide is intended to provide those of us who minister in the area of Education & Employment with a simple and effective tool to assist us in finding help when we need it. There is no greater resource than our combined experiences in the field, and no greater knowledge than our collective heads together on any issue. It is the intent and purpose of the Track to pool together available resources for the benefit of those persons charged with meeting the educational and employment needs of the men and women in our missions, and indeed, in our communities at large.

Whether your are just starting an Education & Employment program or are in the process of enhancing one, use this booklet to network with others in the field, to check out materials available, or to browse web-sites for ideas and information. Whatever your need, we hope this booklet will prove helpful.

Remember that our strength lies in unity. Please feel free to add comments, suggestions, additional information to this as you see fit. Due to human error, and the constant changes that take place in our ministries, it is likely that you may encounter some mistakes…..Please Forgive! Luckily, technology affords us an excellent means of adding or changing the information contained with little effort. Please direct your communication to Gary Meek or Jo Rydman at the AGRM office at 1-800-624-5156.

Track membership is extremely important. If you have not yet signed up as a member of the Track, please request an application from the AGRM office immediately. Remember, only members are eligible for leadership positions and for voting privileges. To ensure continuity and growth we must increase our numbers and nurture new members. Our strength will lie in our numbers as well as the effort we each put in. We need you!!!

Thanks for providing our missions with a tangible tool to measure results. As we enter the new millennium there is dawning a closer scrutiny to who we are, what we do, and how well we do it. Education & Employment adds more to our programs than the traditional “three hots and a cot” perception of rescue ministry. Thank you for your role in our facelift. May God continue to bless your efforts as we endeavor to change lives and build futures.

In His Service,
