It's time to get together again! Fill a van with staff (or board members or key volunteers) from your mission and come to Kanuga Lake in Hendersonville, North Carolina, for a time of renewing, reflecting, and reconnecting!

The Bluegrass District Conference, September 18–20, 2017, will have devotional times, a variety of workshops, and plenary sessions on subjects that are of interest (and importance) to everyone, especially downline staff—critical team members who need the opportunity for inspiration, fellowship, and networking with people who have similar roles at other missions.

Speaker: Bill Thrall

As co-founder of Trueface in 1995, Bill’s wisdom has been penned throughout The CureThe Ascent of a LeaderBo’s CaféBehind The Mask, and High Trust Cultures.

Bill’s gifts and experience also shine as he helps leaders establish trust in all their key relationships and nurtures grace-based environments. CEOs of international companies to heads of mission organizations and universities have repeatedly discovered a lifelong gratitude for spending time with Bill.

Prior to joining Trueface, Bill founded and pastored the influential faith community Open Door Fellowship for over 20 years. While there he built an effective character development  training program, which nurtured visionaries such as Kit Danley, founder of Neighborhood Ministries.

In his spare time, Bill can be found fishing, golfing, crafting furniture for his family in his woodshop, and cultivating fruits, herbs, and vegetables in his fertile backyard garden. Bill and his wife, Grace, have three grown children; Wende married to Jim; Bill married to Charlotte; and Joy married to Joe—and nine grandchildren.

 

 

Conference Lodging

Hendersonville, North Carolina, is close to the center of our district, and we are returning to Kanuga Conference Center for this year's conference.

Built on Kanuga Lake and spread over 1,400 mountain acres, the conference center offers warm, clean, and friendly lodging options, each with its own charm and conveniences. You can choose to stay in the Kanuga Lake Inn, which features 62 hotel-type rooms (each with two beds and a private bath) or you can stay in total mountainside privacy in one of their historic cottages (each with several bedrooms for your staff, a living room with fireplace, and a private front porch).

Your registration fee includes two nights of lodging, six meals (buffet style), access to the 30-acre lake, hiking and walking trails, fishing, tennis courts, outdoor chapels, and an outdoor labyrinth.
 
 
 

For Double/Historic Cottages roommate preferences, please email Lisa Miller, lmiller@agrm.org. Please note that the conference center charges a $100 cancellation fee and a full price fee if cancelling within seven days of the event.

Any mission not in membership with AGRM can register for this event, but will be charged an additional 40%. To register call the AGRM office, 719-266-8300 x 100.

Because this conference is located at a conference center, you will need to register as an attendee in addition to purchasing your sponsorship.
