Opening in September 2012, the UGM Center for Women and Children is the first long-term, residential recovery center for women with children in Kootenai County. Based on the success of UGM’s Women’s Recovery in Spokane, the Center provides a warm, home-like setting in which to explore and confront the issues surrounding abuse, addiction and homelessness. With the love of Christ as the foundation, healing permeates body, mind and spirit, and lives are transformed from the inside out.

His writings have appeared in numerous books, journals, and websites, and he teaches college courses and ministry management seminars around the world. His recent book, Invisible Neighbors, is available from Cross Section. John and his wife have three children and two grandchildren.
Special ActivityThe Coeur d'Alene area is surrounded by dozens of lakes left behind by the glaciers of the ice age, but none more scenic and full of activities than Lake Coeur d'Alene itself. Plan now to join us Thursday afternoon for a beautiful cruise of this magnificent lake. We will spend two hours enjoying the sites of the lake along with opportunities for fellowship and networking. This event is free of charge. If you'd like to donate to help offset the costs involved, we suggest $15 per person. |
