2018 DC Forum
ABOUT THE DC FORUM
Every year in March, the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions offers members the opportunity to connect with lawmakers and agency decision-makers in Washington, D.C., to: (1) Tell the story of how rescue missions are continuing to make a difference on the streets of our cities; and to (2) Convey our desires and concerns about policies, laws, and bills that can hamper faith-based organizations and the work rescue missions do. The DC Forum is one of the most important—and most appreciated—meetings that AGRM holds.
The 2018 DC Forum will be held March 12–14. We start late afternoon on Monday and end Wednesday afternoon. Detailed schedule coming soon.
GUESTS AND PROGRAM
Several guests will join us; some are already confirmed while others are holding the dates but because of policy or the unpredictable course of business in Washington cannot confirm until the day of the event. We guarantee you will learn much from the nonprofit leaders and VIPs who will be involved.
AGRM has secured a limited number of rooms at two Capitol Hill area hotels, just a few blocks from each other. Booking is now available at both. See details below.
The opening dinner of the 2018 DC Forum will be held at the Holiday Inn Washington-Capitol. Other sessions will be held on Capitol Hill this year, making individual appointments with representatives convenient.
The price of $365 for the event program includes AGRM-led meetings, materials, program features, administrative costs, and meals/snacks designated in the schedule. (Hotel reservations must be made separately.) There is no charge for hosted events Tuesday while on the Hill; because lunch will be on your own this day, the registration rate has been reduced. Registration charges are related to activities taking place at other locations or on other days. Please scroll down to register.
