Videos
First Place
- Title: Winter Shelter
- Mission: Union Rescue Mission
Judges Comments: What stands out about Union Rescue Mission videos is that they feature people still struggling. These aren’t life change testimonies. The videos are reports on conditions on the street today and what the Mission is doing to help. The woman in this video is not your stereotypical homeless and that helps to emphasize that this could happen to anyone. The appeal at the end (we need to raise $100,000 by March 15) is strong, because it’s specific and urgent.
