John Ashmen


John Ashmen is president of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, North America’s oldest and largest network of independent ministries providing radical hospitality for the poor and powerless. With more than 20 years of association leadership experience, he holds a B.S. in Bible, with a Social Work emphasis, and an M.A. in Organizational Management. His writings have appeared in numerous books, journals, and websites, and he speaks and teaches around the world. He is a husband, father, and grandfather.

Justin Boles

Director of Member Services

Justin Boles is director of member services for the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, overseeing the programs, products, and services member rescue missions turn to for support. In the 16 years prior to joining AGRM, Justin served as a communications director, consultant, and executive director in the nonprofit and for-profit arenas. Through his experience in international mission work, church leadership, Christian camps, associations, and multinational corporations, he has developed a passion for resourcing organizations like rescue missions, which have a positive impact on the world. He holds a B.A. in communications from Stephen F. Austin State University, where he minored in social work. Justin lives in Colorado Springs, where he and his wife Amy are raising their son, Jaden, and daughter, Jiliyn, whom they adopted from China when she was nine months old.
