AGRM has received word from John Anderson at Bay Area Rescue Mission (BARM) in Richmond, California, that former BARM director and former AGRM president Malcolm Lee was taken to the hospital in Pinole, California, today. He had been complaining of tightness in his chest.
Doctors found a completely blocked artery in his heart and used a stint to reopen it. Malcolm is expected to be in the hospital a few days while he recovers. His wife, Jo, sons, and several friends are with him.
