In addition to sessions for Executive Directors and Development staff, there are also breakouts for management, spiritual life, programs, finance, and medical staff. We also welcome Mike Sacoccio from the City Mission of Schenectady who will present the "Bridges out of Poverty" program and Brian Merriam from Merriam Insurance who will bring his expertise on "How to Avoid a Lawsuit."
We are pleased to have John Ashmen joining us from the AGRM National office to tell us about updates on the National Level and to bring us up to date on AGRM's new program called "Invisible Neighbors."
This is a great opportunity for all of us to get to know our colleagues around the district and to encourage each other in the work of the Lord. If you have not attended a NE District meeting before, this would be a great opportunity for you to come and get to know your fellow RESCUE workers in our district. For those who have joined us in the past, you will know how refreshing it is to take part in the district meeting.
The meeting begins on Thursday evening with dinner and program at the Hampton Inn in Albany, and all Friday meetings, beginning with devotions at 8:30am will be held at the Capital City Rescue Mission building at 259 South Pearl Street in Albany, NY.
Register for the event by downloading the registration form and emailing it to Susan Strickland (sstrickland@albanymission.com) or fax to 518-462-0489 with $38 ($48 for non-members) by August 19, 2011.
